Brer (brother) John is a lay brother at a monastary.  He is told that he must go to a monastary on the planet Wildnwooly.  No provisions are given him so he walks to the spaceport.  It's only a few miles; what could go wrong?

27th
"Touching Faith" by Alexander B. Potter in the anthology, "Children of Magic."
Evan, a 'slow' but intelligent elementary school boy discovers an unusual ability and wonders what he can do with it.
